Alan Carr has hilariously dubbed himself “the most hated man in the UK” as he fled to the United States ahead of the explosive Celebrity Traitors finale.
The 49-year-old comedian, who remains one of the final two Traitors, confessed on Heart Radio with Olly Murs and Mark Wright that he had to “get away from it all” after fans and fellow celebrities turned on him.

“Everyone hates me,” Alan joked. “I’ve come to Orlando to get away because it’s stressful murdering every day. My Christmas card list is getting smaller and smaller.”
Olly suggested Alan should unwind by visiting Harry Potter World, to which Alan quipped he might ride the Volcano Bay water slide in a Hogwarts cloak “with the Traitors’ lantern in hand.”

But beyond the laughs, Alan admitted the show has caused real tension — especially with singer Paloma Faith, who was the first celebrity he “murdered” on the BBC hit.
Speaking on his Life’s A Beach podcast with DJ Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim), Alan said, “I’ve got a real taste for it. I killed Paloma Faith. She’s not happy about it.”
When asked if they were still friends, Alan admitted, “Well, I was…”
He explained Paloma told him, “If you were a real friend, you wouldn’t have killed me,” to which he replied, “The show’s called The Traitors! It does what it says on the tin.”

Despite her fury, Alan insisted there were no hard feelings on his part. “I love her,” he said. “I’m going to take her out for dinner. But no one wants to be murdered first — I panicked!”
As the finale looms, Alan might be in Orlando, but it’s clear the drama of The Traitors has followed him across the Atlantic.
