Sophie Habboo looked radiant as she celebrated her baby shower in true Made in Chelsea style — elegant, glamorous, and just a little outrageous.
The 31-year-old star, who is expecting her first child with husband Jamie Laing, hosted a spectacular celebration at the luxurious Rosewood London hotel on Saturday. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, Sophie glowed in a chic white knitted mini dress that perfectly showed off her blossoming bump, paired with black leather boots and her signature blonde waves.
The private dining area was transformed into a fairytale setting, with long candlelit tables, white floral arrangements, and custom Gigi & Olive napkins for each guest. Friends took to Instagram to share glimpses of the décor, lavish cakes, and sweet moments — joking that the event was a “relaxed affair,” despite its obvious luxury.
The entire celebration appeared to be filmed for Sophie and Jamie’s upcoming Disney documentary, which will chronicle their journey to parenthood.
Sophie, ever candid, recently shared on her Nearly Parents podcast that she’s fiercely protective of her unborn baby. “No one’s kissing my baby,” she said bluntly. “If anyone comes near my newborn and kisses them, I’ll punch you in the face.” Jamie laughed, replying that he’d rather just “let the baby play in the garden dirt” to build immunity — prompting Sophie to roll her eyes and add, “Probably not at the newborn stage.”
The couple, who first met on Made in Chelsea in 2019, tied the knot twice — first in an intimate Chelsea Town Hall ceremony, followed by a lavish destination wedding in Spain in 2023 attended by their MIC co-stars.
They announced their pregnancy in June with a touching ultrasound video captioned simply with a heart emoji. Fans and celebrity friends like Molly-Mae Hague, Dianne Buswell, and Elizabeth Day flooded the comments with congratulations.
Jamie has since confessed that fatherhood has changed his outlook on life. “I used to be terrified of having kids,” he admitted. “But now, I can’t wait. I’d love to have loads.” Sophie sweetly agreed, smiling at the thought of their growing family.
