Ashley Roberts has finally spoken out about the explosive live finale of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, branding the entire night “unhinged” and admitting she genuinely feared things could turn physical.
The 44-year-old singer and radio host didn’t hold back as she reflected on the dramatic scenes that unfolded during the ITV broadcast — a finale that quickly spiralled from tense to completely chaotic.

Speaking on her Heart Breakfast show, Ashley revealed just how intense things became behind the scenes. She said it felt like being on a “Jerry Springer show,” describing a situation where emotions boiled over and control seemed to vanish. People were walking off, voices were raised, and, as she put it, “hands were flying everywhere.”
At one point, Ashley admitted she was more focused on protecting herself than getting involved in the arguments. She said she was trying to dodge “big man hands flying in my face” and confessed that she genuinely thought she might get hit during the chaos.
The live final was dominated by a fiery clash involving Jimmy Bullard and Adam Thomas, with accusations of “abusive” and “intimidating” behaviour thrown around on stage. The tension escalated so far that hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were forced to step in — an unusually direct intervention that highlighted just how serious things had become.
Meanwhile, David Haye reignited his own feud with Adam, adding even more fuel to an already volatile atmosphere.

Despite ultimately being crowned the winner, Adam appeared unable to fully enjoy the moment — something Ashley said was deeply disappointing. She explained that he had endured a tough experience throughout the show, and the finale should have been a chance to clear the air. Instead, it turned into shouting, confrontation, and what she described as “unfortunate behaviour.”
Ashley didn’t hide her emotional reaction either. She admitted she felt angry watching the way some of the men spoke to each other, saying it made her sad to see things escalate in that way. She suggested David may have been leaning into a certain persona for entertainment, but added that it clearly had a real impact on Adam.
She reflected that everyone had gone through a difficult journey together and could have handled things like adults. Instead, the night descended into chaos, leaving her feeling disappointed — and, as she put it, not “fully recovered” from the experience.

The fallout from the finale didn’t stop there. Sinitta also made headlines after walking off during the live show, later explaining she felt the situation had gone too far and resembled bullying rather than banter.
With multiple walkouts, on-air confrontations, and hosts stepping in to regain control, the finale has quickly become one of the most talked-about moments in the show’s history — not for who won, but for how dramatically everything fell apart.
