HE’S MISSING FROM THE SOFA… BUT THERE’S A SURPRISE TWIST: Gethin Jones’ Sudden Morning Live Absence Finally Explained – And It’s Bigger Than Anyone Expected. Helen Skelton Has a New On-Screen Partner — Rav Wilding

Viewers tuning into BBC Morning Live were quick to notice something was off — Gethin Jones was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, Helen Skelton appeared alongside guest co-host Rav Wilding, and she wasted no time addressing the obvious question.

Right at the start of the show, Helen explained that Gethin hadn’t disappeared — he had simply swapped the studio for something far more intense. She revealed that he had been confirmed as one of the contestants on the upcoming series of The Celebrity Apprentice.

“No, he hasn’t taken a career turn,” Helen joked, before adding that he’s heading into the boardroom instead.

The show even flashed an early promotional image on screen, showing Gethin suited up alongside Lord Alan Sugar and fellow contestant Toni Laites. Helen couldn’t resist teasing him, saying it probably wasn’t the reaction he was hoping for, but affectionately added, “bless him in his little suit.”

Rav chimed in with a grin, pointing out how thrilled Gethin looked in the snap.

As the conversation turned to the rest of the line-up, Rav admitted he wouldn’t want to cross paths in the boardroom with Gladiators star Sheli McCoy, hinting at just how competitive things could get.

The upcoming series is set to feature 12 well-known faces, including Alexandra Burke, Danny Miller, Jordan Banjo, and Kay Burley, alongside a mix of TV personalities and online stars.

Across six episodes, the celebrities will battle it out in high-pressure business challenges, all hoping to win a £100,000 prize for a charity close to their hearts.

Speaking about the format, Lord Sugar said the show would push the contestants harder than ever, warning that fame wouldn’t earn them any special treatment.

Fans have already begun picking their favourites, with many rallying behind Gethin — proving that even before stepping into the boardroom, the competition is already heating up.
