The 80-year-old music legend left fans both stunned and emotional as he took to the Pyramid Stage for the Sunday tea-time legends slot, joined by a trio of equally iconic stars – Ronnie Wood, Mick Hucknall, and Lulu.

Dressed in flamboyant flares and a Celtic-emblazoned green suit, Rod opened his set with Tonight I’m Yours, setting the tone for a show packed with nostalgia and powerful moments. Mick Hucknall joined him for a heartfelt version of If You Don’t Know Me By Now, followed by Ronnie Wood’s fiery guitar riffs on Stay With Me. Lulu then stormed the stage in white to belt out Hot Legs alongside the two Faces legends.

Rod later performed fan favourites like Maggie May, Forever Young, and The First Cut Is The Deepest from a runway extending into the sea of fans.
Closing the emotional show with Sailing, Rod admitted to BBC’s Jo Whiley that he got “a little teary-eyed,” calling Glastonbury “our Woodstock” and “the biggest event in the world.”
Reflecting on turning 80 earlier this year, the rocker admitted:
“I won’t be back. This is my Glastonbury moment. My World Cup final. I could retire tomorrow”.

He confessed to feeling nervous ahead of the performance, comparing it to singing for the late Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, saying:
“It’s home. It’s my cup final and I wanted to have a good game.”
