‘Glam-Ma’! Paris Fury talks being a grandma after daughter Venezuela engaged at 16

Paris Fury has spoken out for the first time about her daughter Venezuela’s shock engagement at just 16 — revealing she’s already joked about becoming a “glam-ma” one day and hitting back at critics who questioned her daughter’s decision.

Appearing on the Extraordinary Life Stories podcast, the 35-year-old mum-of-seven said the topic of becoming grandparents had already come up at home. Laughing, she said she couldn’t imagine herself as a granny just yet, adding: “It’ll be a great moment in family life — but a bit scary too! Still, it’ll be nice to be a young, fresh glam-ma!”

Venezuela got engaged during her lavish 16th birthday party in September when her boyfriend, boxer Noah Price, got down on one knee in front of guests. The moment divided opinions online, but Paris insists it’s “nothing unusual” in their culture.

“The fact is, most of my friends and family married young — they’re all happy and doing well. I’m not pretending 16 isn’t young, of course it is, but she understands what engagement means and she’s so happy. I’ve watched the video of that moment back, and she’s glowing — it’s beautiful to see.”

Paris also defended her daughter against online backlash, saying: “She’s not hurting anyone. If she moved in with her boyfriend, nobody would bat an eye. But because she’s chosen a traditional route, everyone has an opinion. I believe you should live your life however you want — as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone.”

The proud mum added that Venezuela’s engagement had also been met with love and support, saying: “My mum and dad met as teenagers and they’ve been together 40 years now. Isn’t that beautiful? If that’s what happens for her, I’d be over the moon.”

Paris described Venezuela as “wise beyond her years,” explaining that she had always been mature and grounded: “She’s never stepped out of line or done anything to disappoint me. Whatever she chooses next, I’ll always be proud of her — she’s got such a good head on her shoulders.”

The TV star also touched on family life and the value of togetherness: “In our home and in our culture, we believe in helping each other. We still sit together for tea, and that’s something I’ll always hold onto.”

And when it comes to parenting, she revealed a strict rule about technology. “Only me, Tyson and Venezuela have mobiles. The rest have tablets that are rarely used. I don’t think social media is good for kids — it pulls you away from real life. We talk, we sit together, and that’s what matters.”
