Conor Maynard has revealed he is officially engaged to his girlfriend Kitty Bertrand, sharing the happy news with fans on social media.
The 32-year-old singer posted a romantic snap of the pair on Saturday, kissing Kitty as she proudly displayed her sparkling engagement ring. In his caption, Conor wrote: “Happy Birthday to my fiancée. I’m ready to take on forever with you.”
The proposal comes just months after the couple bought their first home together in March. At the time, Conor couldn’t hide his excitement, saying it was “a new chapter” as they posed outside their new house with their car.
In June, the pair expanded their family by adopting a Bernedoodle puppy named Bernard. Sharing a photo of Kitty cuddling the fluffy pup, Conor wrote: “Welcome to the family little Bernard.”
Their engagement marks a fresh start for the star, who has recently put a turbulent chapter behind him. Conor was cleared in a paternity scandal with The Traitors contestant Charlotte Chilton, who had claimed he was the father of her daughter after a one-night stand. A second Ministry of Justice-approved DNA test confirmed he was not the child’s father, with Conor later admitting: “This has been difficult for me and my family, but I’m glad we can finally draw a line under this.”
Fans flooded the couple with congratulations after the engagement announcement, with many saying Conor had finally found his “forever happiness” with Kitty.
