Alison Hammond has left fans in awe once again, proudly showing off her incredible 11-stone weight loss as she powered through an intense boxing session — and proving she’s not slowing down anytime soon.
The This Morning presenter, 51, shared a high-energy Instagram video of herself training one-on-one, throwing punches with fierce determination while showcasing her dramatically slimmer physique in a sleek black activewear set.

Going make-up free and full of energy, Alison looked stronger than ever as she worked the pads, completing her look with chunky black trainers while moving confidently around the room. Captioning the clip, she cheekily wrote: Yass @themccannic! Same time next week — making it clear this is now part of her regular routine.
A five-year transformation that changed everything
Alison’s jaw-dropping transformation didn’t happen overnight. Over the past five years, she has quietly dropped around 11 stone through consistent lifestyle changes — focusing on diet, exercise, and long-term health.
She previously revealed that her journey began after discovering she was pre-diabetic — a wake-up call that pushed her to completely rethink her habits. Through healthier eating and regular workouts, she has since reversed the condition.

Now, she continues to maintain her figure with a strict but balanced routine. Alongside boxing, Alison has embraced Reformer Pilates and early-morning circuit classes.
She admitted she turned to Pilates because she felt “as stiff as a board,” adding that the results have been transformative. She said you feel absolutely incredible after it and that she really needed a good stretch, with Reformer Pilates proving brilliant for her.
Her mornings often begin at 6:30am with intense circuit sessions, which she described as a “proper old-school gym” experience — and one that leaves her feeling amazing every time.
“Why am I literally trying to kill myself?” — Alison’s honest take on wellness trends
While Alison has embraced many fitness trends, there are some she refuses to adopt.
Opening up about trying cold plunge therapy, she didn’t hold back. She admitted it lasted barely a minute, joking that she found herself thinking, why am I literally trying to kill myself?

And when it comes to weight-loss injections, Alison has made her stance clear. She explained that while they may work for others, she has avoided them due to hearing “scary” stories.
She said she thinks they are a good option for people who need them, but as soon as she hears any scare story, she gets frightened. However, she added she wouldn’t judge anyone who chooses that path — and hasn’t completely ruled it out for the future.
From Bake Off temptations to balance and moderation
Despite being surrounded by cakes on The Great British Bake Off, Alison has found a clever way to stay on track.
She revealed she only samples the very best — joking that she eats a bit of Paul and Prue’s bakes after judging, but only if they’ve earned a handshake or won.
Her overall philosophy is simple: balance. Alison insists she hasn’t cut anything out completely, instead focusing on moderation. She explained she eats everything, but in moderation, refusing to deny herself entirely.
At her heaviest, Alison weighed 28 stone — a stark contrast to the confident, energetic woman fans see today. With the help of a personal trainer, she now fits workouts around her busy schedule, training up to four times a week when possible.

A deeply personal motivation behind the transformation
Behind the physical change lies a deeply emotional motivation.
Alison has spoken about how the loss of her mother, Maria, in 2020 — after battling lung and liver cancer — played a significant role in her decision to overhaul her lifestyle.
That heartbreak, combined with her health scare, became the driving force behind one of the most inspiring transformations in British TV.
And now, as she throws punch after punch in the boxing ring, Alison isn’t just showing off a new body — she’s proving her strength, resilience, and determination to keep fighting.
