Jack Osbourne shared a deeply emotional moment with his mum Sharon after leaving I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, admitting the jungle experience was “good for him” following one of the hardest years of his life — the death of his father, Ozzy Osbourne.
The 40-year-old reality star became the tenth contestant to exit the jungle, and during scenes shown on Saturday’s Coming Out Show, viewers watched him reconnect with Sharon via a FaceTime call from the UK. The moment was raw and affectionate, with Sharon confessing she had missed her son “so effing much” and telling him what a “great bunch of people” he had shared the experience with.

Jack responded warmly, saying he felt incredibly lucky, adding that everyone had been “awesome” and that he’d made genuine friendships. While Sharon admitted it would be tough adjusting to life after the jungle, Jack reassured her, saying he’d had a great time and was genuinely glad he’d taken part — a sentiment she echoed back, telling him she was “so glad” he did it too.

Jack entered the ITV show just four months after Ozzy Osbourne died of heart failure in July, aged 76. Reflecting on why he signed up so soon after the loss, Jack explained that he hadn’t gone into the jungle to seek answers, but rather to be alone with his thoughts. He said it had been difficult at times, but being cut off from the outside world gave him the space to keep processing his grief in a healthier way.

Since leaving the jungle, Jack has reunited with his wife Aree Gearhart and their daughter Maple — and shared joyful news that the couple are expecting their second child together. He is also dad to three daughters, Pearl, Andy and Minnie, from his previous marriage to Lisa Stelly.
Speaking elsewhere about becoming a father for the fifth time, Jack revealed the pregnancy had been planned, if slightly sooner than expected, and described it as something they had long hoped for. He also admitted that the arrival of a new baby has brought unexpected comfort as he continues to mourn his father, calling it a “healthy distraction” and even a strange kind of “full circle.”

Jack said Ozzy would have been proud of his jungle journey and supportive of the challenge. Inside camp, he previously opened up to fellow contestants about losing his dad, admitting the speed of Ozzy’s decline had come as a shock. In an emotional conversation with comedian Eddie Kadi, Jack described missing his father’s energy, saying Ozzy had a presence so powerful it was “like he swallowed the galaxy.”
Still navigating his grief months on, Jack admitted the pain remains fresh — but leaving the jungle, reconnecting with family and looking ahead to new life has given him a renewed sense of hope.
