‘Don’t Cry, Don’t Cry’: Katie Price Struggles to Hold Back Tears at Harvey’s Emotional Goodbye. Harvey Price Sobs ‘I Miss You’ After Leaving College for New Life Near Mum Katie

Katie Price has shared an emotional update about her son Harvey, who recently made a major change in his living arrangements. The 23-year-old, who has complex needs, left the specialist National Star College in Cheltenham and moved to a new home in Southampton — closer to his mum.

Speaking on her podcast The Katie Price Show, the mum-of-five revealed the heart-wrenching moment she watched Harvey’s leavers assembly. “When he went on stage and they talked about how good he was, I was like, ‘Don’t cry, don’t cry,’ but my lip was trembling. That’s it — no more college. They were all crying because they’re going to miss him.”

Harvey’s move was prompted by cuts to council funding and Katie’s own financial struggles following her second bankruptcy. He’s now preparing to transition into independent living in Littlehampton starting October, but for now, Katie has secured temporary housing for him in Southampton.

“He was so excited when I took him to his new place,” Katie said. “He even sent me a picture he drew of the view from his window — it had the moon, stars, and pictures of me and JJ.”

Despite the excitement, emotions overwhelmed Harvey after the move. “He didn’t FaceTime me all day, but when I finally called, he was in bed crying. He said, ‘I miss you.’ I asked, ‘Are you happy there?’ and he said, ‘Yes’. I promised I’d visit him on Saturday.”

Katie has yet to open the leavers certificate book that was given to Harvey, admitting she’s saving that emotional moment for later. “They put all his photos in a book — I haven’t looked at it yet, but I’ll video myself when I do.”

As Harvey adjusts to a new chapter, Katie’s priority remains his happiness — and keeping him close to home.
