David and Victoria Beckham are said to be enduring fresh anguish over their fractured relationship with eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, with those close to the family claiming they are increasingly being left in the dark about his life and fearing he has become “isolated”.
The latest chapter in the long-running family rift unfolded after Brooklyn, 27, appeared in a DoorDash campaign that many believed contained subtle digs aimed at his famous parents.
According to friends, David and Victoria were completely unaware of the advert before it was released and only discovered it in the same way as everyone else — through social media.

One source claimed: “They had absolutely no idea. That is the reality now… they often find things out when everyone else does.”
Those close to the Beckhams say the lack of communication has become increasingly painful, with the couple relying on “scraps of information” to keep up with their son’s life.
A family friend explained: “They hear fragments about what Brooklyn is getting up to…but it’s practically impossible. They worry — as they have from the beginning — that he is being isolated. There is the occasional text to the grandparents but that’s about it.”
Growing concern over Nicola’s influence
Questions surrounding Nicola Peltz Beckham’s influence over her husband have resurfaced in recent months, although Brooklyn’s representatives have repeatedly insisted he is making his own decisions.
“He is very much his own man,” his team has previously maintained.
However, after the controversial advert appeared online, some friends of the Beckhams once again pointed the finger at Nicola.
One insider alleged: “There is a general concern that Nicola is calling the shots and pushing him out to make money….and he’s too naive to appreciate the damage it is doing.”
They added: “It’s just really sad and confusing why he would do this, and goes against everything they have said about wanting peace and privacy.”

Hidden references leave family upset
In the commercial, Brooklyn joked to viewers: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…” before adding with a smile: “It’s a long story.”
While the remark alone reportedly disappointed the family, some fans believe several details in the advert carried deeper meaning.
Unopened letters placed on a coffee table were interpreted as a possible reference to relatives attempting to contact him. Brooklyn also swapped watches during the clip, prompting speculation that he was distancing himself from the Patek Philippe Nautilus gifted to him by his father on his 21st birthday.
A snow globe featured in the video also sparked online theories, with some believing it was linked to Victoria, who has previously spoken fondly of handmade snow globes given to her by her children during Elton John’s wedding celebrations.
One source said: “It goes without saying but this all feels a little cruel. He knows his parents in particular have been hit for six by the estrangement. Who on earth thought it was a good look to trade off the family heartache?”
David and Romeo refuse to fuel the feud
Despite the tension, members of the Beckham family have publicly refused to attack Brooklyn.
When asked about the fallout during the unveiling of his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, David shut down questions, saying: “To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”
Meanwhile, younger brother Romeo offered a simple message when approached by photographers.
“We love him. We love him,” he said.
Harper controversy leaves family devastated
The situation escalated further after Brooklyn’s representatives accused the Beckhams of orchestrating paparazzi photographs involving 14-year-old Harper.
The teenager had reportedly attempted to deliver a note to her brother shortly after David’s Hollywood ceremony, only to discover he was not home.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s publicist responded: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.”
Privately, friends say the accusation deeply upset the Beckham family.
One insider said: “It’s also unbelievable when they are willing to throw a child under a bus. We are talking about a little sister merely dropping off a note because she has no contact and misses him.”
They added: “Brooklyn is increasingly isolated from reality.”
With the DoorDash campaign teasing “more soon,” some friends fear the conflict may continue.
One source warned: “Both Nicola and Brooklyn’s careers have not really taken off….and if they were really honest with themselves, this feud is the only thing they are known for. Worryingly, it is something they can monetise….and as this advert shows, they have no qualms about doing so.”
