Daddy Pig has unexpectedly become one of the biggest stars of the London Marathon after raising an incredible £57,000 for the National Deaf Children’s Society — while also sparking a bizarre internet frenzy that convinced thousands of fans the beloved Peppa Pig character was secretly Harry Styles in disguise.
The iconic cartoon dad completed the brutal 26.2-mile race in an impressive 5 hours, 51 minutes and 53 seconds alongside fitness coach Joe Wicks, swapping his famous wellies for running trainers in support of deaf children after George Pig was revealed to be moderately deaf in an upcoming Peppa Pig storyline.

But while many viewers were moved by the emotional charity mission, social media quickly exploded with another question entirely: “Was that actually Harry Styles inside the Daddy Pig costume?”
The rumour spiralled out of control after fans noticed Daddy Pig’s height, running style and surprisingly athletic legs — with many convinced the One Direction superstar had secretly entered the race undercover.
Speculation became so intense that BBC presenter Gabby Logan addressed the theory live on air, asking Daddy Pig directly: “People are speculating that there is a very famous pop star under there… specifically Harry Styles.”

Standing beside him, Joe Wicks quickly shut the rumours down while laughing: “Daddy Pig is Daddy Pig! He is himself, he’s being himself, and there are no celebrities here right now.”
Still, Joe admitted the theory had completely taken over social media, joking: “Does he have Harry Styles’ legs? I don’t know!”
As Daddy Pig danced around playfully after crossing the finish line, Gabby teased: “The way he was dancing just then, I think we can put that one to bed.”
Following the race, Daddy Pig celebrated the emotional achievement by saying: “I did it! I did it! I oinking did it! That was a very long run, but the crowds were fantastic, and my friend and coach Joe Wicks kept me going.”

He added: “My legs are a bit wibbly-wobbly like jelly, but I’m so proud to have crossed the finish line. Most importantly, I’m honoured to have raised awareness and funds for the amazing work of the National Deaf Children’s Society.”
The bizarre conspiracy theory gained even more traction because Harry Styles is famously obsessed with running and has quietly completed several marathons under low-profile appearances in recent years.
Last year, Harry stunned fans after running the Tokyo Marathon before later achieving a personal best at the Berlin Marathon with a time under three hours.

Fans online became completely obsessed with the mystery, with posts flooding TikTok and X saying things like: “This may be the most British thing I’ve ever seen,” and “I’m fully convinced Harry Styles is Daddy Pig.”
Others even demanded a “Masked Singer-style reveal” to finally settle the chaos once and for all.
Still, some hardcore Harry fans immediately shut the theory down, insisting they knew his legs “better than their own” and claiming Daddy Pig simply wasn’t him.
Whether it was Harry Styles or not, one thing became clear by the end of the marathon: Daddy Pig somehow managed to turn a charity run into one of the strangest — and most talked-about — celebrity stories of the week.
