Romeo and Cruz Beckham have made a very public show of support for their younger sister Harper amid the escalating rift with their older brother Brooklyn Beckham.
The latest chapter in the Beckham family fallout unfolded after Brooklyn’s camp accused David and Victoria Beckham of “using Harper as a pawn” and claimed the 14-year-old’s visit to his Los Angeles mansion had been “choreographed for the cameras.”
Just days earlier, Harper had been photographed arriving alone at the Beverly Hills home Brooklyn shares with wife Nicola Peltz. The teenager appeared downcast before leaving only moments later, with reports suggesting she had brought a handwritten letter for her older brother.

In response to the accusations, sources close to David and Victoria strongly defended their daughter, insisting: “It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.”
The insider added: “Nothing needed to be said at all so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary.”
Amid the controversy, Romeo Beckham, 23, made his feelings clear by sharing a sweet Instagram selfie with Harper, affectionately calling the teenager his “favourite person ever.”
The pair looked close as they posed together, with Romeo smiling in a jacket from his own fashion label while Harper pulled a playful face for the camera.

Meanwhile, Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel revealed that she and Cruz had spent quality time with Harper during the family’s trip to California. The trio enjoyed seafood at Newport Beach restaurant The Crab Cooker before treating themselves to ice cream, while another day saw them grabbing Erewhon smoothies together.
Sharing photos from the trip, Jackie wrote: “LA – OC!! Core memory weekend. We obviously went looking for Summer and Seth.”
Both Cruz and Victoria Beckham responded with strings of red heart emojis, further highlighting the family’s united front around Harper.
Representatives for Brooklyn and Nicola had earlier claimed: “[The fact] that photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”

Friends close to David and Victoria have also alleged that Brooklyn has refused attempts at contact from Harper and even his grandparents since the family breakdown intensified.
It later emerged that Brooklyn was not even in California when Harper arrived at his home. The aspiring chef shared footage of himself jogging in New York City, revealing he was on the opposite side of the country when his younger sister reportedly turned up at his front door.
Harper had travelled to Los Angeles with Romeo and Cruz to celebrate their father David Beckham receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Despite months of headlines surrounding the bitter family dispute, David declined to discuss the issue publicly.
“To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about,” he said.

Relations between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family have reportedly deteriorated significantly over the past year. The tensions intensified after Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend David’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2025.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn released a six-page statement distancing himself from “Brand Beckham”, describing his parents and siblings as “performative” and formally severing ties with the family.
Victoria Beckham has previously acknowledged the difficulties of raising older children under constant public scrutiny.
“Being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it’s very different from having little children,” she explained.
“I think that we’re trying to do the best we can.”
