BBC Greenlights Third Series of Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour – And Rylan’s Mum Still Thinks They’re Secretly Engaged!

Fan-favourite duo Rob Rinder and Rylan Clark are set to return for a third series of their hit BBC travel show Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour – and fans are already losing it.

Following two successful seasons exploring Italy’s most historic and romantic cities – Venice, Florence, and Rome – the lovable pair are reportedly planning another European adventure, with producers eyeing up new cultural hotspots like Spain, Greece or France.

Known for their warm chemistry, constant bickering, and surprisingly heartfelt chats, Rob and Rylan have left viewers not just laughing, but feeling. Their dynamic has even sparked endless speculation: are they just best mates, or is there more to the story?

And Rylan’s own mum, Linda Clark, is firmly in the “more than mates” camp. Despite Rylan and Rob both repeatedly denying any romance, Linda remains unconvinced. Rylan cheekily admitted on Lorraine that his mum still thinks he and Rob are secretly engaged, joking, “From your mouth to my mum’s ears!”

Looking back on their journey, Rylan shared: “In Venice, we stayed separately. Florence – same place, different rooms. By Rome? I was waking up under him yelling, ‘Get off me, barrister!’”

He added warmly: “We started this as mates and ended it as true friends. That’s the best part of all this.”

While the BBC hasn’t officially confirmed the third series, insiders say early plans are well underway, and the creative team is eager to keep the magic going.

So, with a third trip on the cards, will we get more culture, more chaos – or finally an answer to the big question on everyone’s mind (especially Linda’s): are Rob and Rylan more than just friends?
