Romeo Beckham is once again channeling his famous father — this time with a buzzcut straight from David Beckham’s own hands, despite the football legend’s recent grooming blunder that left him with a bald patch.
While vacationing aboard a luxury yacht in St Tropez with the Ramsay family, David, 50, decided to give 22-year-old Romeo a fresh trim, reviving their shared love for the iconic shaved-head look. Romeo later posted a playful Instagram snap of the moment, causing fans to erupt with laughter — not just at the transformation, but also at the trust Romeo placed in his dad after David’s clipper catastrophe just weeks ago.
David had attempted to shave his own head in a DIY throwback to his iconic 2000-era skinhead, but things went south when the guard fell off mid-cut, leaving a gaping triangle-shaped patch on top of his head. Wife Victoria didn’t hold back either. In a video she posted, she told him bluntly, “It looks terrible.”
Fans flooded the comments under Romeo’s post, joking: “HOW ARE YOU TRUSTING @davidbeckham AFTER THAT?” and “Lol don’t let the guard fall off again!”
Despite the buzz-cut mishap, it seems the Beckham boys are making it a family trend. Earlier in the trip, Cruz Beckham, 20, was seen sporting tight white Prada pants reminiscent of David’s legendary underwear campaign, further proving that the sons are taking more than just hair cues from their dad.
Romeo, meanwhile, flaunted his tattooed physique in red swimming shorts and a white vest as he enjoyed yacht life alongside pal Mitchell Curry, 26. He also previously experimented with a bleached buzzcut and even a bright pink version — both inspired by his dad’s many style phases.
David, ever the hair chameleon, has revisited the buzzcut look multiple times since his football heyday, and even called it his “favourite hairstyle” during a chat with Gary Neville. “It was easy — I didn’t have to do anything with it,” he admitted.
As for the yacht adventure, the Beckhams have clearly been embracing the sun, sea, and shared haircuts — even if one of them went a little patchy.
