‘Back At The Farm’: Jeremy Clarkson’s Partner Lisa Hogan Shares Reassuring Update After Star Reveals Aggressive Cancer Battle

Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan has offered fans a reassuring glimpse into the presenter’s recovery after his emotional revelation that he has been battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

The 66-year-old Clarkson’s Farm star shocked viewers when the diagnosis was revealed in the final episodes of the show’s fifth season, which documented his health struggle after he was diagnosed in May last year.

Following the outpouring of support from fans, Lisa took to Instagram Stories to thank well-wishers and shared a fresh snap of Jeremy enjoying life back at Diddly Squat Farm. Alongside the image, she wrote simply: “Back at the Farm.”

She later reposted a message from Prostate Cancer UK and added: “Thank you for all the support today. @prostatecanceruk.”

The emotional episodes showed Clarkson breaking the devastating news to his farming colleagues Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper. While discussing harvest plans, the former Top Gear host suddenly admitted: “Yep. I’ve got cancer.”

A stunned Kaleb replied: “No, you haven’t. Where?”

Clarkson answered: “Where it is of no concern of anybody. I’ve known since May.”

He went on to explain that doctors had diagnosed an aggressive form of cancer, although it had been caught early.

“I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early,” he said.

The timing proved especially difficult, with treatment and surgery falling right in the middle of harvest season.

“I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it’s going to be slap bang in the middle,” Clarkson explained.

An emotional Kaleb immediately pledged his support, telling his friend: “Look after yourself. If you need anything, you just ring me.”

Clarkson later praised the importance of early detection, admitting it may have saved his life.

“If I hadn’t have got myself checked out and they hadn’t caught the problem early this could well have been my last harvest. It’s only because they did catch it early there’s any hope. I’ll be harvesting this farm for many, many years to come.”

The presenter underwent surgery in August, but complications later forced him back into hospital. In scenes filmed from his hospital bed, Clarkson admitted things had not gone entirely to plan.

“Some of the treatment has gone awry, let’s say. I’m going to be here for a little while,” he said.

He then delivered a heartbreaking message to viewers:

“If this is all successful I’ll see you for season six and if it isn’t I won’t. Take care everyone.”

Despite the frightening ordeal, Clarkson has continued working on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, while Prime Video has already confirmed a sixth season of Clarkson’s Farm, with filming expected to pause to allow him time to recover.

Lisa’s latest update appears to suggest that, for now at least, the broadcaster is enjoying being back where he feels happiest — on the farm.
