‘An End of an Era’: Vogue Williams has officially confirmed that she and her husband Spencer Matthews have sold their £4.25 million Battersea apartment, bringing a deeply emotional chapter of their family life to a close

Vogue Williams has revealed that she and husband Spencer Matthews have finally sold their £4.25million Battersea apartment, closing the door on a hugely emotional chapter of their family life.

In her latest YouTube vlog, Vogue confirmed the long-awaited sale of the London flat the couple first shared — and where all three of their children were born — admitting it felt like “the end of an era”.

“We sold our apartment. It’s gone. End of an era. The apartment is gone,” Vogue told viewers, explaining that the family has temporarily moved into a nearby rental so their children can remain settled at school while work begins on their next big project.

That project is what Vogue repeatedly described as their “forever house” — a period family home in London that the couple purchased back in June. However, fans hoping for an immediate move-in were warned to expect a long wait, with Vogue revealing the renovation process will take at least 18 months.

“I’ll miss this apartment. We’ve lived here for seven years. It’s the first place we lived together. All our kids were born here,” she said, admitting saying goodbye would feel strange despite the excitement of what lies ahead.

Vogue insisted this time the phrase “forever home” truly applies. She compared the new house to her beloved dream property in Ireland, saying she believes it will be where Theodore, Gigi and Otto grow up.

“This actually is our forever house. It’s like my dream home I have in Ireland — and this is the dream home here,” she explained.

The couple first listed their Battersea flat two years ago for £5.25million, eventually slashing a staggering £1million off the price to secure a sale. Vogue openly admitted that her emotions got the better of her when it came to buying the new property.

“I walked in and I couldn’t even hide from the estate agents that I had no intention of not owning that house,” she laughed, adding that excitement may have cost them a better deal.

As renovations begin, Vogue revealed she has been keeping husband Spencer firmly in check — joking that her degree in quantity surveying has become essential when managing budgets and expectations.

“He doesn’t understand that the things he wants are just not in our budget,” she said, adding that while some ideas have been swiftly scrapped, the finished home will still be everything they dreamed of — just financially realistic.

Giving fans a sneak peek inside, Vogue showed off original fireplaces, ornate cornicing and ceiling roses, alongside a spacious garden that will soon be transformed into a large lawn for the children.

While the family also own a home in Howth, work commitments continue to keep them rooted in London — at least until their forever home is finally ready.
