Amanda Owen finally speaks out on deadly illness rumours after frail appearance — fans still fear for the mum-of-nine running a busy farm

Amanda Owen has once again proved she’s unafraid to live life on her own terms after shutting down online chatter about her health. The Our Yorkshire Farm star, 50, stunned fans when she appeared in a tiny bikini while riding a horse at Ravenseat Farm, defiantly silencing those who had expressed concern over her recent weight loss.

The mum-of-nine, who became a household name after the Channel 4 hit in 2018 and later fronted Our Farm Next Door, shared a candid video on Instagram flaunting her toned abs. Amanda nearly spilled out of her plunging top but looked carefree as she laughed in the Yorkshire evening sun.

In the caption, Amanda made her point clear: “Determined to ride out the storm of any negativity or concerns for my health. Being happy and confident is easier on the most perfect evening and in good company. A bonus is not being blighted by insects—that stings and bites hurt far, far more than any derisory comments.”

She doubled down in the clip, telling her 541,000 followers: “One day I’ll be far too old to ride a horse, far too old to wear a bikini, and definitely too old to do both at the same time. So for now, that’s exactly what I’m going to do—if the weather lets me.”

Fans quickly flooded the comments with support. “Rocking the bikini & riding a horse! You are an inspiration,” one follower wrote. Another admitted, “Okay, some of us were genuinely concerned by your weight loss, but if you say you’re in good health then that’s all that matters.”

Amanda’s latest statement comes just weeks after Channel 4 confirmed Our Farm Next Door will return for a second series on More4 later this year.
