Phillip Schofield hugs a shivering homeless woman on a cold London night, where no one else noticed her – a quiet yet deeply meaningful act

TV presenter Phillip Schofield showed once again that kindness costs nothing – and sometimes it costs £40 – when he shared a heartwarming moment with a homeless woman on the streets of London.

Fresh from a night out in Camden with his daughter Ruby, the This Morning host was spotted stopping to chat with a woman who approached him outside his waiting car. In a moment that melted hearts, Phillip not only embraced her with a hug but also reached into his car, grabbed his wallet, and handed her two crisp £20 notes.

The woman, visibly emotional, appeared overjoyed by the thoughtful gesture. Onlookers noted that Phillip didn’t hesitate – his actions were instinctive, genuine, and full of compassion.

Dressed casually in a blazer, jeans, and shirt, the 55-year-old presenter looked relaxed but attentive. It’s not the first time Phillip’s empathetic side has shone through. In a recent segment on This Morning, he was visibly moved as a terminally ill caller shared a heartbreaking family struggle live on air.

Fighting back tears, Phillip read aloud the woman’s words: “My children always thought they would have their dad after my death, but now he’s gone. I’m going to die leaving them alone.” That emotional moment, shared with co-host Holly Willoughby and guest Jeff Brazier, left viewers shaken – and once again highlighted Phillip’s sensitive nature.

Whether in the studio or on the street, Schofield continues to show the same message: kindness matters – and sometimes a small act can mean the world.
