Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson has opened up about his first date since parting ways with long-term girlfriend Zara McDermott — and fans are loving his refreshingly honest take.
Speaking on his podcast Staying Relevant with best friend Pete Wicks, Sam revealed he recently went out with a “beautiful” mystery woman. Although he admitted to being “absolutely terrified,” Pete helped him through the pre-date panic with advice like: “Order her drink before she gets there. Compliment her — but not like a weirdo.”
Sam laughed as he recalled almost ruining the moment by accidentally blurting out how nervous he was — while the woman was already within earshot. “She looked stunning… and I said it, out loud… while still on the phone!” he confessed.
Since his high-profile breakup in January, Sam has opened up about struggling with self-esteem but says he now feels like “himself again.” He was recently seen with Love Island All Stars alum Samie Elishi, fueling speculation that she might be the mystery woman from his date.
