Former Love Island star Adam Collard has revealed he recently underwent back surgery, sharing his recovery journey just as his fiancée, sports presenter Laura Woods, returned to television following the birth of their first child.
Taking to Instagram, Adam posted a photo of himself in a hospital gown and on crutches, simply captioned “Back surgery…” He later added a playful update from his hospital bed, joking “Completed it, mate,” while pumping his fist.
In a touching moment, Adam was seen watching Laura on screen as she presented the Champions League match between Barcelona and Inter Milan—her return to TNT Sports just 13 weeks after giving birth to their son, Leo.
“I’m watching my girl from the bed on her first day back,” he wrote, adding a heart-eyes emoji. He continued: “Proud of her… She’s been my rock through this injury, surgery, and everything these past six months.”
Laura also shared her return-to-work moment, posting a sweet picture of her mum and baby Leo waving goodbye. The couple had welcomed their son in January 2025 and have since shared glimpses of their parenting life online.
Laura recently admitted she found it hard to wear anything other than tracksuits since giving birth, but looked radiant earlier this month as a bridesmaid at a friend’s wedding—wearing a pink gown, with baby Leo by her side and Adam proudly watching on.
