Cruz Beckham brought the sunshine and the showmanship as he larked about on the family’s £16million yacht this week, playfully mimicking his dad David’s iconic speedo look — while older brother Brooklyn remained notably absent once again.
The 20-year-old stripped down to a pair of £410 white Prada briefs, reminiscent of David’s famous Armani campaigns, as he splashed around the yacht’s sun deck alongside his bikini-clad girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.
From wakeboarding with flair to serenading Jackie with a guitar performance under the sun, Cruz proved he’s not just the spitting image of his dad – he’s inherited his love for the spotlight too. At one point, he leaned in for a kiss after playing a few chords for his smitten girlfriend, making for a scene straight out of a music video.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Romeo kept the energy up as he joined Cruz for ball games and relaxed chats aboard the yacht, which is fittingly named Seven – a nod to Harper’s middle name and David’s famous shirt number.
But all eyes were on the family’s notable absentee: Brooklyn Beckham. After holidaying on a £85million vessel with wife Nicola Peltz and her family last week, Brooklyn has now returned to New York. Paparazzi snapped him looking glum as he accompanied Nicola and her mother on a shopping trip – a stark contrast to the fun unfolding back on the Med.
The tension between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckhams seems to be deepening. Fans noted Victoria “liked” all of her eldest son’s recent Instagram posts – except those featuring Nicola. And while Brooklyn posted a birthday tribute to sister Harper, Cruz and Romeo unfollowed him shortly after he left them out of the family photo he chose to share.
Despite the drama, the rest of the Beckham clan looked unbothered as they soaked up the sun. Victoria topped up her tan on the upper deck, David was seen chatting with Cruz, and Jackie snapped videos of her boyfriend playing the guitar.
As the family yacht bobbed along the coastline, it was clear that – for everyone but Brooklyn – this was a summer to remember.
