“Oh no, David!” – Beckham left with a huge bald patch after botched DIY haircut, as even Victoria can’t hide her horror

David Beckham’s latest attempt at a DIY makeover didn’t go as planned — and the result had everyone, including wife Victoria, in shock.

The 50-year-old football icon, who’s long been admired for his ever-changing hairstyles, decided to bring back his famous buzz-cut from the early 2000s. But things went sideways when the head of his clippers came off mid-shave, leaving him with a glaring bald patch right on top of his head.

Beckham was reportedly “fuming” as there was no way to fix the uneven cut. And Victoria didn’t hold back her reaction either. In a video posted online, she can be heard telling him bluntly, “It looks terrible.” Trying to lighten the mood, she filmed the moment and shared it with her followers, making sure everyone got a good look at her husband’s scalp mishap.

David first rocked the buzz-cut look during a Premier League match against Leicester City in 2000 and has always considered it his favourite. “I always loved the skinhead,” he told Gary Neville during a recent chat on The Overlap podcast. “It was easy, and you didn’t have to do anything with it.”

Despite the haircut fail, Beckham has recently been turning attention to more serious matters. Ahead of his 50th birthday in May, he launched a heartfelt fundraising appeal with UNICEF, marking 20 years as a Goodwill Ambassador. His campaign focuses on helping vulnerable girls affected by child marriage, abuse, and violence.

In an emotional Instagram video, Beckham urged fans to donate: “We are witnessing a global funding crisis where the most vulnerable children are suffering the most… Every child deserves the chance to dream.”

While his patchy buzz-cut may have stolen the headlines, it’s clear Beckham is still focused on making a difference — even if he should probably leave the haircuts to the professionals from now on.
