Celebrity Big Brother Chaos: Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa Scolded for Bizarre Litter Tray Antics as Fans React with Disgust — Plus JoJo’s Stunning Revelation About Her Sexuality
In a jaw-dropping twist during the latest Celebrity Big Brother episode, housemates Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa stunned viewers—and even Big Brother himself—when they used cat litter trays to relieve themselves as part of a cat-themed challenge.

While the task involved celebs pretending to be cats—prowling, eating from bowls, and starting with nine lives—no one expected the duo to actually urinate in the litter trays and cover it up with their hands. Big Brother quickly intervened: “House cats are reminded that they can use the human toilets.”
Fans online were appalled. “I am disgusted!” wrote @PastelUnicorn5. Others chimed in: “Are they really peeing in a litter tray? What the actual hell?” and “That’s disgusting—just use the toilet!”
Amid the chaos, another moment from the show stole hearts: a hilariously awkward interaction between JoJo and Patsy Palmer in the bathroom, followed by a trending online moment dubbed the “best scene of the series.”

But the episode also took an emotional turn when JoJo opened up about her identity in a private conversation with RuPaul’s Drag Race star Danny Beard.
JoJo, who is currently in a relationship with influencer Kath Ebbs, revealed:
“I’ve never— I think I’ve always told myself, I’m a lesbian. I think being here… I’ve realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer.”
She added:
“And I think that’s really cool. I’m switching letters! I’ve dropped the L and I’ve gone to the Q, baby! That’s what I love about sexuality.”
Danny, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, hugged her warmly and joked: “And you know what British people love more than anything? To queue!”
The term “queer” is commonly understood as an umbrella term that includes a broad spectrum of identities beyond heterosexuality. This can include people attracted to multiple genders, non-binary individuals, and more.
LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall defines “queer” as: “a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of sexual orientation and/or gender identity.”

JoJo came out as pansexual in 2021, though she has referred to herself as gay in recent interviews. Speaking on Paul C Brunson’s podcast We Need To Talk shortly before entering the Big Brother house, she discussed her evolving journey with sexuality.
Whether she’s making fans laugh, pushing boundaries, or exploring her identity on-screen, JoJo Siwa continues to be one of this season’s most compelling figures.
