The highly anticipated celebrity edition of BBC’s hit show The Traitors has officially begun filming, and the full line-up has been revealed. Hosted once again by Claudia Winkleman, this all-star version promises an exciting mix of personalities, drama, and strategy — all set within a Scottish castle.
Among the standout names are comedians Bob Mortimer, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, and Lucy Beaumont; pop stars Paloma Faith and Cat Burns; actors Mark Bonnar, Celia Imrie, Ruth Codd, and Tameka Empson; TV presenters Kate Garraway, Clare Balding, and Jonathan Ross; historian David Olusoga; Olympic diver Tom Daley; rugby legend Joe Marler; Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed; and YouTube star Niko Omilana.

The Mirror reports that the celebrity version will differ greatly from the standard edition, as many stars are less driven by the prize fund and more concerned about how they are perceived. A source explained: “This mix of egos and personalities will make the gameplay fascinating. We’ll likely see new tactics and motivations.”
Charlotte Church, who previously distanced herself from fame, joins the cast, aiming to rediscover her creativity. Comedian Bob Mortimer, known for his unique wit and health challenges, said he’s no longer afraid of death — only of missing the end of his loved ones’ stories.
TV presenter Kate Garraway, who recently lost her husband Derek Draper, admitted joining the show is part of navigating life as a single parent. Meanwhile, Alan Carr spoke about his recent eye health scare but is ready for the challenge.
Other participants bring unique perspectives: Stephen Fry, a secret fan of the show; Nick Mohammed, reflecting on his unexpected rise in Ted Lasso; Tom Daley, who stepped away from Olympic glory to focus on family life; and David Olusoga, sharing how childhood racism shaped him.

Niko Omilana, a YouTube prankster, joins to appeal to younger audiences, while Mark Bonnar adds acting prestige with his Line of Duty credentials. Meanwhile, legends like Celia Imrie, Clare Balding, and Paloma Faith bring charisma, confidence, and personal depth to the cast.
The celebrity edition of The Traitors promises to be a mix of entertainment, strategy, and unexpected emotion — with 22 stars ready to deceive or be deceived.
