Katie Price has spoken out after her missing husband Lee Andrews was reportedly located in a Dubai prison, insisting he was “interrogated” because authorities believed he was a spy.
The former glamour model, 48, claimed Lee was questioned after disappearing for two weeks, during which both she and his family were unable to contact him.
Speaking on The Katie Price Show with her sister Sophie, Katie said: “I spoke to him for one minute and yeah, they thought he was a spy. He’s been interrogated, had hoods on him and all. That’s all I know.”
When Sophie joked that police thought Lee was “like James Bond”, Katie replied: “Oh, he could f***ing be James Bond.”
Katie had previously raised the alarm on May 13, saying Lee had been tied up, placed in a van and taken to a “black site” after being “arrested”.

Lee later called Katie from prison in a brief two-minute phone call on Wednesday morning. Katie said: “I have found him – he is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy.”
However, The Sun reports that authorities have denied he was being held over spying charges, with sources claiming his detention was connected to a private civil matter. Lee is reportedly due for release on Monday after paying a four-figure fine.
The bizarre James Bond comparison has attracted even more attention after it emerged Lee had once reposted a suggestion that he should be the next 007.
