Katie Price’s increasingly chaotic “missing husband” saga has now spiralled into a bitter public family feud after her mother-in-law accused the former glamour model of “exploiting” Lee Andrews while he remains missing in Dubai.
The 47-year-old reality star shocked fans over the weekend when she revealed husband Lee Andrews had been “officially declared a missing person” after vanishing near the Hatta border crossing in Dubai. Katie claimed the businessman had FaceTimed her wearing a hood with his hands tied before his phone suddenly went dead.
But while social media filled with concern, confusion and conspiracy theories, Lee’s mother Trisha Andrews appeared to distance herself dramatically from Katie’s version of events.

The psychic medium, who advertises herself as “one of the most fluent spiritual mediums in the UK,” responded publicly to Facebook comments defending her during the controversy. When one user insisted Katie was not responsible for the “drama queen antics,” Trisha replied bluntly: “Thank you Jane. It’s Katie exploiting and I get all the backlash.”
She also urged another follower “not to believe what they read,” further fuelling speculation that tensions behind the scenes may be growing rapidly.
The comments appeared beneath a promotional poster for one of Trisha’s clairvoyance nights in Mansfield, where guests pay £20 for prosecco, a buffet and an evening of spiritual readings.
As online debate intensified, another supporter defended Trisha from criticism, writing: “Is it really Trisha’s fault what’s going on? Grow the f**k up all of ya.” Trisha warmly replied: “Bless you Debra x you took the very words out my mouth! Thanks support babesxx.”
When another commenter joked about ransom money, Trisha dismissed the theories entirely, replying: “You watching too much TV hunny.”

Meanwhile, Katie has continued insisting the situation is terrifyingly real.
In a lengthy emotional YouTube update, she claimed Lee disappeared shortly after trying to cross the Hatta border on Wednesday night to catch a flight to the UK for a planned Good Morning Britain appearance.
Katie explained: “Lee was trying to get through the border at Hatta… his location went off at 10.03pm on Wednesday night. That’s the last contact anyone has had.”
She alleged she had been speaking directly with Dubai CID officers, who reportedly confirmed Lee had not been detained by police and could not be located anywhere in the country.
The TV personality then made the bombshell suggestion that Lee may have been kidnapped.
“The unsettling thing for me, the last time I heard from him, he FaceTimed me, he had a hood on and said, ‘I’ve just been captured or arrested,’ and had ties around his hand,” Katie claimed emotionally.
“He said, ‘They’re coming back for me,’ then his phone went dead.”
Adding even more chaos to the story, Katie also lashed out at Britain’s Got Talent impressionist Francine Lewis after she mocked the situation online. Katie snapped back furiously: “Your so s**t, so is your love life.”

Sources close to the star later insisted Katie is “mortified” by growing accusations that the ordeal could be a publicity stunt.
A source said: “She’s seen people calling it a stunt and that she must be in on it, but she’s absolutely not. This is such a worrying, upsetting situation.”
The bizarre saga comes just days after Katie hinted her marriage could already be in trouble when Lee failed to board a scheduled flight for a Good Morning Britain reunion interview. At the time, she branded the relationship a “soap opera” before appearing publicly without her wedding ring.
Now, with Lee still missing, his mother publicly contradicting parts of the narrative, and fans split over what to believe, the drama surrounding Katie Price has become even more explosive.
