JEMIMA GOLDSMITH FINDS LOVE AGAIN: Screenwriter Set To Marry Multi-Millionaire Financier Cameron O’Reilly After Whirlwind 12-Month Romance — Following Years Of Heartbreak, Divorce And High-Profile Affairs

After years of heartbreak played out in the public eye, Jemima Goldsmith has finally found love again — and friends say she has never looked happier.

The award-winning screenwriter and documentary producer, 52, is engaged to Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly after quietly dating for just over a year.

Cameron, 62, is no stranger to wealth and influence himself. He is the son of late media tycoon and rugby star Sir Anthony O’Reilly and made his own fortune through smart meter technology and software investments.

According to friends, the couple first met professionally while working on documentary and film projects before their relationship slowly turned romantic. Insiders revealed that they spent time as friends before becoming a couple and are now dividing their lives between his home in Switzerland and Jemima’s residence in West London.

One friend explained: “They first met through work and were friends for a while before that. They have been together as a couple for just over a year. He’s a very private person and Jemima is determined to protect that.”

Sources close to the couple say Jemima’s family — including her brother Robin Birley, the owner of exclusive London members’ club 5 Hertford Street — have already met Cameron and reportedly “get on very well with him.”

The romance marks a major new chapter for Jemima following decades of intense public scrutiny surrounding her love life.

She famously married former Pakistani Prime Minister and cricket legend Imran Khan when she was just 21 years old. Their marriage lasted nine years before ending in divorce in 2004, with Khan later saying his political career had made it difficult for Jemima to adapt to life in Pakistan.

The former couple share two sons together, Kasim and Sulaiman, and despite their split, Jemima has remained publicly supportive of Khan during his ongoing legal battles in Pakistan. The former leader remains imprisoned after corruption convictions he insists are politically motivated, while the UN previously described his detention as “arbitrary” and in violation of international law.

Following her divorce, Jemima became linked to several famous men including Hugh Grant, Russell Brand, literary agent Luke Janklow and Peter Morgan.

Away from her personal life, Jemima has quietly built an impressive career in television and film production. Her work includes the acclaimed documentary series The Clinton Affair and The Case Against Adnan Syed, while her screenplay for the romantic comedy What’s Love Got To Do With It? received multiple awards.

The engagement also comes during an emotional period in Jemima’s life, following the death of her mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith, in October last year at the age of 91.

Just weeks ago, Jemima also made headlines after being fined £1,000 for failing to respond to police letters linked to a speeding offence involving a vehicle registered in her name. She later blamed extensive renovation work at her £10million Kensington home for the delayed response.

Now, friends believe Cameron could finally offer Jemima the stability and privacy she has long been searching for after years of living under the spotlight.
