David Beckham admitted he felt “very blessed” after being showered with love by his wife, children and close friends on his 51st birthday — but fans couldn’t ignore the glaring absence of one person once again: Brooklyn Beckham.
The football icon took to Instagram to share a nostalgic throwback photo from his school days alongside an emotional message thanking those closest to him for making the day special.

David wrote: “I feel very lucky & blessed to have had a very special day today being spoilt by my wife, kids, family and friends from the moment I opened my eyes till now and I just want to say thank you and I love you all so much & my beautiful family thank you.”
While Romeo, Cruz and Harper all rushed to publicly celebrate their father with emotional tributes, Brooklyn remained completely silent — marking yet another painful chapter in the Beckham family feud.
The silence did not go unnoticed by fans, especially because Brooklyn has continued to publicly celebrate members of Nicola Peltz’s family on social media over the past year. From posting birthday tributes to his father-in-law Nelson Peltz and mother-in-law Claudia, to sharing messages for Nicola’s brothers and relatives, Brooklyn has regularly shown support for his wife’s side of the family online.
Yet when it comes to his own parents, the silence has become increasingly impossible to ignore. He also failed to publicly acknowledge Victoria Beckham’s recent birthday — something many fans pointed out again after David’s celebrations.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Beckham family appeared more united than ever as they spoiled David with a bizarre but heartfelt gift — chickens.
Victoria Beckham shared a playful Instagram video showing David meeting the birds for the first time at the family’s £15million Cotswolds estate. Wearing a cowboy hat and grinning from ear to ear, the former England captain carefully carried the chickens into their new coop while Victoria filmed proudly behind the camera.
She told followers: “It’s David’s birthday and this is me and the kids bought him, from the boys, they’re so pretty!”
Victoria later added: “Happy Birthday, we love you so much!!”
Romeo Beckham also shared touching childhood photos with his father and called David his “best mate,” while Cruz posted yacht snaps alongside the caption: “Happy birthday I love you xxx.”
Harper’s tribute proved especially emotional as she wrote: “Happy birthday to the best daddy in the whole world. I honestly could never ask for a better role model.”
The latest snub comes months after Brooklyn reportedly declared he no longer wanted to be associated with “Brand Beckham” and accused his famous family of being “performative.”
Tensions inside the Beckham family have continued to escalate ever since Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly skipped David’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations last year. Reports later claimed communication between the couple and David and Victoria had become so strained that lawyers were allegedly involved.
Victoria recently addressed the painful family fallout publicly for the first time, saying: “We love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.”
She added: “All we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.”
