“SHE BROUGHT HER KITTEN TO WORK…”: Myleene Klass Turns Leicester Square Into A Catwalk As She Arrives At Classic FM With Adorable Rescue Cat Shimi McLovin

TV and radio star Myleene Klass had fans smiling on Thursday after stepping out in central London with her adorable new feline companion, Shimi McLovin, tucked inside a stylish breathable cat carrier.

The 48-year-old presenter looked effortlessly chic as she arrived at the Classic FM studios in Leicester Square wearing a floral playsuit paired with leopard-print sandals, perfectly matching the warm spring weather. But it was her fluffy white kitten that truly stole the spotlight.

Myleene only recently introduced Shimi McLovin to fans on social media, revealing the kitten is currently being fostered as part of her ongoing support for Wood Green Pets Charity. The presenter has been helping raise funds for the charity through a partnership with Skechers footwear.

As photographers gathered outside the studio, Myleene was seen lovingly checking on the kitten while making her way across the busy London landmark, flashing smiles at passersby along the way.

But beyond the glamorous appearance and playful pet moment, Myleene’s charity work continues to earn widespread praise. Over the years, she has become one of the UK’s most vocal campaigners for miscarriage awareness and women’s health reform.

In 2024, the former Hear’Say singer was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours list for her services to women’s health, miscarriage awareness and charity work.

Speaking emotionally after receiving the honour, Myleene said: “Today in the New Year Honours list I have been recognised for an MBE. I am now officially Myleene Klass MBE.”

She added: “The MBE is for my services to miscarriage and campaigning, working with Tommy’s, making sure that women’s fertility is addressed at parliament and just making sure that every woman and baby gets across that finishing line and I won’t stop. I will not stop.”

The presenter also reflected on the heartbreak that pushed her into campaigning, admitting her advocacy journey came “from a very dark place.”

“Anyone who has experienced baby loss will know how personal and difficult it is to vocalise this level of trauma,” she previously told the BBC.

Myleene has spent recent years fighting for earlier miscarriage support for women, arguing they should not have to endure three losses before receiving proper medical help.

She passionately explained: “If you suffered three heart attacks you wouldn’t only be offered support after the third one and so it shouldn’t be the same with baby loss.”

Now balancing motherhood, broadcasting and charity work — while also carrying kittens through Leicester Square — Myleene continues to prove why she remains one of Britain’s most admired media personalities.
