Despite pulling in strong ratings, the ITV spin-off has been rocked by a relentless wave of drama behind the scenes, with explosive arguments, shocking exits, spoiler leaks and growing accusations that the show is being “fixed”.
The biggest flashpoint came during Tuesday night’s episode when Adam Thomas erupted in a furious clash with Jimmy Bullard after the latter sensationally quit a Bushtucker Trial.
The pair had been teamed up for the challenge, meaning Jimmy’s decision to walk out sealed both of their fates — triggering an explosive reaction from Adam.
