What was meant to be one of the most romantic moments of his life quickly turned into a scene straight out of a comedy sketch.
Comedian Jack Whitehall found himself at the centre of an unforgettable mishap during his lavish wedding to model Roxy Horner — and this time, the joke was quite literally on him.
The 37-year-old star tied the knot with Roxy, 34, in a stunning £250,000 ceremony at Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds, surrounded by a host of celebrity guests including Jamie Redknapp, Frida Andersson, Douglas Booth and David Gardner.
But despite the fairytale setting, things took a wildly unexpected turn mid-ceremony.
While bending down to pick up his two-year-old daughter Elsie — who had just adorably called out “daddy, daddy” at the end of the aisle — disaster struck. Jack revealed that his designer Tom Ford trousers suddenly split wide open.
He later recalled the moment with typical humour, admitting that as he squatted down, “my trousers split — my whole a*s was hanging out.”
The awkward incident unfolded in front of their closest friends and family, turning a heartfelt moment into one of the most talked-about highlights of the day.
Despite the wardrobe malfunction, the ceremony went ahead without a hitch, with Roxy stunning after having her makeup done by Nikki Wolff and her hair styled by her sister Josie.
The celebrations didn’t stop there. Guests were treated to a lavish reception catered by Jimmy Garcia, alongside a towering multi-tier vanilla sponge cake by Hall of Cakes.
The party continued into the early hours, with the newlyweds and their celebrity guests dancing until 2am, before later heading to Coworth Park to continue the celebrations.
And as if the trouser incident wasn’t enough, Jack also found himself on the receiving end of cheeky banter from his mates. At one point, while rowing a boat across the estate’s lake, friends jokingly shouted “s**gger” — a nod to his past appearance on Who Do You Think You Are?.
The couple, who began dating during lockdown in 2020, welcomed daughter Elsie in 2023 and got engaged in 2024. Now, after a wedding no one will forget, they’re preparing to jet off to Venice for their honeymoon.
