Tensions reached breaking point on I’m A Celebrity as Adam Thomas was left in tears following not one—but two fiery clashes with David Haye in camp.
Viewers watched in disbelief as the 37-year-old actor struggled to hold himself together after enduring what many have branded relentless jabs from the former boxer. The fallout sparked a wave of outrage online, with fans accusing David of crossing the line into “bullying”.

After the second heated exchange, a visibly shaken Adam retreated to the Bush Telegraph, where emotions finally spilled over. Fighting back tears, he admitted he was confused and hurt, saying he didn’t understand where the hostility was coming from and questioning what David was getting out of it. He added that the constant digs were no longer funny and had simply become too much to handle.
Back in camp, fellow contestants didn’t stay silent. Scarlett Moffatt bluntly told David not to be a “dick”, capturing the frustration shared by many watching at home. In a surprisingly candid moment, David replied: “I am a dick, that’s the problem.”
Later, reflecting alone, David appeared to soften his stance. He admitted he may have been “a bit harsh” and insisted it was never his intention to hurt Adam’s feelings, describing him as a genuinely sweet guy he actually likes.
But the damage had already been done.

Earlier that morning, the tension had been brewing from the moment campmates woke up. What began as light conversation quickly spiralled into pointed remarks, with David teasing Adam about his physical and mental strength following a previous challenge mishap.
Adam, clearly frustrated, pushed back—telling David to “shut up” and pleading for him to stop the constant comments. At one point, he snapped that enough was enough and questioned why David had been targeting him for two straight days.
Despite David claiming he was simply acting like a “big brother”, Adam wasn’t buying it. He fired back that it didn’t feel caring at all—and urged him to “have a day off”.
Even when David later attempted to check in, suggesting Adam might have issues outside the camp, the comment only deepened the tension. Adam bluntly responded that David himself was the problem right now.

The awkward exchange ended with a half-hearted apology from David—one Adam didn’t believe.
Fans quickly took to social media, with many slamming David’s behaviour as “mocking” and “spiteful”, while others praised Adam for finally standing up for himself.
One thing is clear: the jungle is no longer just about survival—it’s become a battleground of emotions.
