At 37, Tyson Fury might be preparing for another blockbuster return to the ring, but inside his home, he’s still very much the rule-setting father — and his teenage daughter is feeling every bit of it.
The heavyweight champion admitted he is “very happy” for his eldest daughter Venezuela Fury, 16, after she accepted a proposal from 17-year-old amateur boxer Noah Price. But despite the engagement — and even a lavish hen party already behind her — Tyson insists his focus remains firmly on his upcoming fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov.
And when it comes to parenting? Nothing has changed.

Behind the headlines and Netflix fame from At Home With The Furys, the boxing icon has enforced a series of strict rules that have left Venezuela both frustrated… and quietly rebellious.
Speaking during filming, Venezuela didn’t hold back, admitting she gets on well with her dad but describing him as “very strict,” explaining that he doesn’t like her wearing make-up or dressing up. Tyson has reportedly banned short skirts, heavy cosmetics, long acrylic nails and even dramatic eyelashes — a far cry from the glamorous lifestyle many might expect.
One moment, in particular, stuck with her. She recalled how Tyson “went mental” after seeing her in a fitted lilac mini dress, after her mum Paris Fury sent him a photo before a party. Laughing it off, she added a telling line: strict parents raise sneaky kids.

Even something as simple as a manicure became a battleground. During one salon visit, Paris insisted her daughter cut her nails “short — and I mean ugly short,” revealing just how seriously the household rules are enforced.
Paris admitted the shift came suddenly. When Venezuela was younger, Tyson had no issue with her dressing freely — but everything changed once she hit her early teens. Now, she says, it’s simply a case of Tyson coming to terms with the reality that his daughter is growing up.
And that’s where the tension lies.
At one point, Venezuela summed up the contradiction perfectly, joking that her dad says she’s “not leaving the door until she gets married” — before asking the obvious question: how is she supposed to get married if she can’t even go out?
Tyson, however, remains unapologetic. He made it clear that as long as his children live under his roof, they must follow his rules. Once they’re adults and move out, they can do whatever they want — but until then, “that’s just how the cookie crumbles.”

Despite the strict approach, the family dynamic remains close-knit — and even Noah followed tradition by asking Tyson for permission before proposing. The boxing star has even joked he’ll “bring the strippers” to his future son-in-law’s stag do — if he gets invited.
Meanwhile, Paris has taken a softer stance, saying she wants Venezuela to build her own life and independence — making it clear she won’t be able to rely on her famous father forever.
For now, though, one thing is certain: Venezuela may be engaged, planning her future, and stepping into adulthood… but under Tyson Fury’s roof, she’s still playing by his rules.
