Gogglebox favourite Jenny Newby has melted hearts once more after announcing she has become a great-grandmother for the third time — and fans are completely obsessed with the newest addition to her growing family.
The 67-year-old TV star shared the emotional moment with her 840,000 Instagram followers, posting a touching photo of herself cradling her newborn great-granddaughter, Olive-Mae, for the very first time. The snap, taken in hospital, showed Jenny visibly emotional as she held the tiny baby close, clearly overwhelmed by the special milestone.

Alongside the adorable image, a playful caption read: “Congratulations Jenny on your new great-granddaughter Olive-Mae, more babysitting duties I think,” followed by laughing emojis — perfectly capturing the warmth and humour fans have come to love.
The post quickly flooded with congratulatory messages, including sweet tributes from her Gogglebox co-stars. Izzi Warner gushed that the baby was “absolutely adorable,” while Welsh favourites Dave and Shirley also sent their love, calling Jenny a “lovely girl” in their message.
Fans, however, couldn’t resist bringing the laughs — with many joking that baby Olive-Mae was already showing signs of fitting right into the Gogglebox world. One follower teased that the newborn was giving Jenny the exact same look Lee Riley often does when she’s about to say something outrageous, while another joked the baby looked “ready to deliver opinions on Gogglebox” with a cheeky side-eye.

It’s not the first time Jenny’s family has charmed viewers either. Earlier this year, her other great-grandchildren appeared on the show — hilariously encouraged by Lee to call her “old” and “wrinkly,” leaving audiences in stitches.
Jenny and Lee, who first appeared on Gogglebox back in 2014, have built a loyal fanbase thanks to their infectious friendship and quick-fire banter. And now, with baby Olive-Mae entering the picture, it seems there’s a whole new generation ready to continue the laughs.
