Katie Price’s ex-boyfriend JJ Slater has claimed their relationship hit a “massive red flag” after he allegedly caught her sending late-night, alcohol-fuelled messages to footballers Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish—behind his back.
Speaking publicly for the first time since their split, JJ said the incident occurred during a 2024 holiday in Cyprus. He recalled a night out at a karaoke bar that ended with drinks back at their accommodation. While he went to sleep, he claimed Katie stayed up with friends. Hours later, he said he woke to find her upstairs on her phone, messaging the two Premier League stars.
JJ described the moment as a warning sign he couldn’t ignore. He stressed there is no suggestion either footballer behaved inappropriately, and it’s understood neither responded to any messages.
The claims surface just weeks after it emerged that Katie ended the two-year relationship after deciding she couldn’t see a future with JJ. Days later, she stunned fans by marrying businessman Lee Andrews in Dubai following a whirlwind, one-week romance.
The former couple began dating in February 2024 and had even discussed having a child together—Katie’s sixth. But sources say doubts about long-term compatibility grew, with JJ eventually moving back to Essex after accepting the relationship would not lead to marriage.
Since the split, JJ has unfollowed Katie on Instagram, while she still follows him. Meanwhile, Katie’s rapid-fire marriage has continued to raise eyebrows, with matching tattoos, claims of a luxury Ferrari gift, and talk of splitting time between the UK and the UAE adding to the drama.
