Sir David Beckham appeared to cheekily mirror his chef son Brooklyn Beckham as he took to the kitchen for a playful cooking session — this time under the watchful eye of longtime friend Gordon Ramsay.
The former footballer, 50, and the fiery TV chef, 59, have joined forces to launch a new meal-box collaboration with Real Home Chef, featuring Ramsay’s “five-star recipes” alongside Beckham’s BEEUP fruit snacks.

Marking the launch, David shared an Instagram clip of himself preparing a scallop truffle risotto sent over by Gordon — in a video that immediately drew comparisons to Brooklyn’s recent cooking content. The pair even jumped on FaceTime so Ramsay could supervise every step.
“Look what’s just arrived at my house — what have you sent me?” David joked, before Gordon replied that it was “a little gift from chef to chef.”

Teasing the stern image of Ramsay printed on the box, David added that Gordon “could have smiled,” prompting Ramsay to laugh and insist that was him smiling. He then revealed the dish inside was a scallop truffle risotto, knowing it was one of David’s favourites.
As David cooked, he repeatedly checked in on his scallops, earning praise from Ramsay, who told him the sear looked “beautiful” and declared the dish “bellissimo.” David credited his success to having “a good teacher” as he added the finishing touches.
He then held up a packet of his own BEEUP snacks, quipping that something sweet was missing from the kit — with Ramsay replying that David’s additions were the perfect finishing touch.

The timing of the post raised eyebrows, coming just days after Brooklyn was mocked online for sharing a “special spaghetti bolognese” recipe — despite having no spaghetti in the dish — following his explosive public statement accusing his parents of controlling behaviour and trying to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn later admitted in the comments that he had simply run out of spaghetti.

Meanwhile, sources say David and Victoria Beckham remain devastated by the fallout, insisting they would welcome their eldest son back “in a minute,” as the rest of the Beckham family publicly displayed unity at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
