Katie Price has finally broken her silence after fresh reports claimed her relationship with JJ Slater had come to an end — and she did so in typically defiant fashion.
After months of speculation surrounding the state of their romance, sources claimed this week that the couple had “gone their separate ways”, citing growing tensions over their 14-year age gap and Katie’s desire to marry again.
But on Friday, the former glamour model appeared to push back against the rumours by posting a new 20-minute vlog on YouTube, alongside an Instagram Story clip in which JJ could clearly be seen in the background.
In the video, Katie casually revealed that she had spent New Year’s Eve with JJ, undermining claims that the relationship had already fizzled out. At one point, JJ briefly appeared behind the scenes as Katie chatted with her daughter Princess in the kitchen, while another moment showed him helping her disabled son Harvey into the car with bags of shopping.
The footage came just hours after reports suggested Katie had issued JJ with an “ultimatum”, allegedly pushing for marriage and long-term security — pressure that insiders say ultimately led to their split. It was also claimed that the Married At First Sight UK star had moved out of her home.
A source told The Mirror that the break-up had been “on the cards for a long time”, explaining that while the age gap hadn’t mattered initially, cracks began to show as Katie’s urgency for another baby and a fourth wedding intensified. According to the insider, JJ had “checked out” emotionally as the pressure mounted.
Despite the swirling rumours, Katie has insisted publicly that she “doesn’t need a man”, telling listeners on her podcast that she is perfectly capable of standing on her own.
However, those closest to her reportedly fear history may repeat itself. Friends and family are said to be concerned that if things truly are over with JJ, Katie will quickly throw herself into another relationship.
