Festival Frenzy Turns Heartwarming as Vick Hope Asks Fans for Baby Name Ideas Before Maternity Leave: “I Got It!”

Radio star Vick Hope had an emotional send-off at the Radio 1 Big Weekend in Liverpool, where she made a sweet and spontaneous request to the crowd: help her pick a baby name.

The 35-year-old presenter, who is expecting her first child with husband Calvin Harris, lit up the stage alongside co-host Jamie Laing. Dressed in a vibrant, figure-hugging maxi dress with a thigh-high split, Vick proudly displayed her growing baby bump — and soaked in the moment.

As Jamie told the cheering crowd that Vick was heading off on maternity leave, he added, “She needs help with baby names — shout them out!” With fans enthusiastically screaming suggestions, Vick laughed and replied, “Okay, I got it!”

The moment marked the end of her current Going Home show run with Jamie. Posting to Instagram, Vick reflected: “Final @bbcradio1 Going Home show with just the two of us for a little while, it’s been such an absolute blast!”

Jamie returned the love, calling Vick “an amazing person, amazing friend, and soon-to-be amazing mum.”

Earlier that day, Vick was seen enjoying herself at the festival — dancing, laughing, and catching up with co-hosts like Arielle Free and Greg James. Despite the buzz, she maintained her usual down-to-earth charm. On air, she emphasized that she wasn’t interested in making a grand announcement about her pregnancy, joking: “I’m not the King!”

She added: “I’ve been keeping it quiet because I’ve just been enjoying it privately.”

Vick and Calvin married in September 2023 and have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye. Their baby is set to grow up between multiple homes, including a countryside estate in the Cotswolds and a farm in Ibiza.
