Tina O’Brien was spotted looking downcast as she stepped out for the first time since quietly calling time on her four-month romance with boyfriend Adam Fadle.
The Coronation Street star, 42, is understood to have cut all ties with Adam, 38, earlier today — a move that insiders say left him completely stunned. One source claimed Tina felt the relationship “wasn’t going anywhere” and admitted she didn’t see it “lasting in the long run”, prompting her to walk away before investing more energy into something she believed had no future.
Just hours after the split became public, the actress was photographed walking her dog in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, wrapped up in a long brown coat, black hat and leopard-print scarf. Bare-faced and bundled against the cold, she looked sombre as she strolled with her pet, keeping her head low.
Tina and Adam only went public over the summer when they attended co-star Jack P Shepherd’s wedding together. Friends believed the pair were a solid match, and Adam reportedly thought the two had a real future. But Tina’s decision was firm — she has now removed all traces of Adam from her Instagram, including photos from their September getaway to Greece, signalling the breakup is final.
The couple were said to have met through mutual friends in Cheshire, where they both live. This marks Tina’s second significant breakup this year after she split from her husband, Adam Crofts, in March. They share a son, Beau, while she is also mum to her 16-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with Ryan Thomas.
