“I’m begging you to be kind — stop picking her apart.” Jeremy, Kelly Brook’s husband, breaks down as he pleads with viewers to stop putting pressure on his wife

Kelly Brook’s husband, Jeremy Parisi, has made an emotional appeal to I’m A Celebrity viewers, urging them to show compassion as his wife continues to face harsh scrutiny over her body while competing in the Jungle.

Jeremy admitted it has been “hard” watching the 46-year-old TV star be picked apart, especially before she even arrived in camp. He said he was proud to see Kelly “confident and happy in her own skin”, adding that women in the public eye “shouldn’t have to live under that kind of microscope”.

Kelly herself recently begged viewers to accept her changing appearance, explaining that she is no longer “a 20-year-old bikini model” and hopes the public will stop comparing her to her younger self.

This week, the star became the season’s first celebrity to strip off for a jungle shower. Appearing in a patterned bikini, she looked relaxed and radiant — a moment Jeremy called “gorgeous”, though he admitted it hurt missing her birthday for the first time in a decade. “Sunday will be a hard one,” he said, “but I’m flying out on Monday. We’ll celebrate properly when she’s back.”

Jeremy was also moved to tears earlier this week after watching Kelly break down in the Bush Telegraph when she received a photo of him and their beloved dog, Teddy.

Kelly turns 47 in camp, but managed a small early birthday gathering with friends before flying to Australia. She insists she feels strong and proud of her body after running a marathon earlier this year. “I embrace my curves. I embrace my body. I just feel great,” she said.

The model has long rejected criticism of her figure, once firing back at trolls by saying she’s a “healthy size 12” who refuses to apologise “for having boobs and a bum”.

She even revealed she packed plenty of swimsuits for the iconic jungle shower and spoke with Myleene Klass — whose white bikini moment remains one of the show’s most legendary scenes. “That was her moment,” Kelly said. “You can’t recreate fate.”
