Adam Peaty’s sister Bethany has unexpectedly emerged as the only member of the Peaty clan still standing by the Olympic swimmer as tensions explode around his wedding to Holly Ramsay.
The rift began when Adam and Holly banned his mother, Caroline, from the upcoming Christmas wedding after a bitter row triggered by Holly’s decision not to invite her future mother-in-law to her Soho Farmhouse hen party. The fallout spiralled dramatically, with Adam’s aunt Louise blasting the couple online and later alleging that Caroline wasn’t invited because she didn’t have “the right look.”

But one person from Adam’s side managed to survive the purge: his sister Bethany. She not only made the exclusive guest list but was reportedly asked to be one of Holly’s bridesmaids. According to The Sun, Bethany “fits in” perfectly with the Ramsays’ glamorous world because “she’s blonde and pretty,” and friends believe she has been swept up by the celebrity lifestyle.
A source claimed Bethany was “over the moon” to be at the hen do, thrilled to mingle with names like Victoria Beckham, and eager to share the experience with her friends. “She really fits in with the glam world – she’s blonde and very pretty,” the insider insisted.

Adam addressed the family drama this week, breaking his silence with an emotional statement on Instagram. He told fans that he, Holly and Bethany “will get through” the turmoil and emphasised that “there are two sides to every story.” He added that he is trying to be “a worthy partner, father, businessman, friend and athlete” despite the “challenging times,” and thanked those who had shown “kindness and understanding.”
He also revealed he could not share further details due to “an ongoing police investigation into serious matters that arose long before recent events.”

Meanwhile, sources close to Adam’s working-class family say the swimmer has distanced himself from his mother since becoming immersed in the Ramsays’ fame and wealth. Caroline recently broke down in an interview as she claimed Holly’s family were “pulling him away from her.”
But for now, Bethany stands as the sole Peaty family member still connected to the wedding — a symbolic reminder of just how deep the family divide has grown.
