Hidden for 12 Months! It didn’t erupt overnight — long before the hen-do drama, Adam announced his engagement without mentioning his parents at all, praising only the Ramsays. And then came the moment everything unravelled, when Holly Ramsay’s decision to exclude his mum from the hen party exposed it all — the moment he cut off his parents without a single explanation

Adam Peaty’s family rift didn’t explode overnight — insiders say it has been simmering quietly for almost a year, long before his fiancée Holly Ramsay’s hen-do saga went public.

This week, Adam’s aunt Louise Williams reignited tensions after claiming that his mum, Caroline, was banned from Holly’s two-day hen party in Bath. But those close to the family say the fractures go much deeper — and date back to the moment Adam announced his engagement last September.

Sources tell us the Olympic champion has grown increasingly distant from his parents as he becomes more entrenched in the world of his in-laws, Gordon and Tana Ramsay. One insider said the family feels “pushed further and further from Adam over the past year”, adding that he seems “more at home with Holly and her folks, while his own family has been left behind.”

When Adam and Holly announced their engagement, he posted an emotional tribute — but noticeably made no mention of his own parents. Instead, he praised Holly’s family, writing that “your family have always treated me so generously with their time, emotion and trust… I can’t wait to be joined with them too.”

Sources say this omission stung deeply at home.

Caroline, meanwhile, has remained silent through months of tense moments to protect her relationship with Adam’s four-year-old son George. One source said: “Caroline is devoted to her grandson and will move heaven and earth to care for him… she has always toed the line because she wants to be part of his life.”

But the dam finally burst when Louise publicly criticised Holly’s hen-do guest list — which included Adam’s sister Bethany, Holly’s family and friends, and even family friend Victoria Beckham — while leaving Caroline out entirely.

Louise wrote that Holly “was divisive and hurtful towards a woman who opened her home and heart to you,” and questioned how Holly could invite “your mum, your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends,” and “my niece — but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.”

As the wedding approaches, the feud that was once hidden is now undeniably centre-stage — and Adam’s parents remain uninvited from the biggest day of his life.
