Jasmine Mitchell has officially risen to the top of Britain’s most beloved baking show — The Great British Bake Off 2025. The 23-year-old student-turned-star from Birmingham was crowned winner after a breathtaking finale that left judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith completely in awe.

Throughout the series, Jasmine stunned with her skill, winning an unprecedented five Star Baker titles — a feat never before achieved in the show’s history.
“Oh my goodness, I’m just so overjoyed!” she exclaimed after her victory. “Balancing exams with baking was insane — but I’ve done it, and I’m so unbelievably happy.”
In the final episode, Jasmine faced off against Aaron Mountford-Myles, 38, and Tom Arden, 31, in a trio of gruelling challenges designed to push every whisk and piping bag to the limit.

Her first challenge, a batch of 12 iced buns — six apricot and strawberry, six orange and white chocolate — earned Prue’s praise as “absolutely delicious.” Paul called her bread “perfectly judged,” while her rivals struggled with technical mishaps: Tom accidentally swapped salt for citric acid, and Aaron’s dough was deemed “too hard.”
The technical round, however, saw Jasmine stumble as she failed to stack all 32 madeleines for her lemon-curd tower. “I thought that might be the end for me,” she later admitted. But the final showstopper challenge — an elegant 1.2-metre-long table cake — brought her redemption. Paul declared it “wonderful,” while Prue gushed that it was “beautiful, delicate and worthy of a queen.”

Paul later reflected, “There wasn’t a single week where we thought Jasmine might go. Not once. That’s never happened before — she’s been incredible from start to finish.”
Prue added warmly, “She’s steady, consistent, and extraordinary. A true baker.”
Despite the grueling ten weeks and no cash prize — just the symbolic flowers and cake stand — Jasmine walked away with Britain’s heart.
