Emma Willis made a glamorous return to the spotlight last night, stepping onto the red carpet with husband Matt Willis for the first time since undergoing heart surgery. The Love Is Blind UK presenter, 49, looked radiant in a tailored red jumpsuit and leopard print heels as the couple attended a glitzy BAFTA event hosted by British Vogue and Netflix.

It was a double celebration, as the red carpet appearance also marked Matt’s birthday. Emma shared a heartfelt tribute earlier that day, writing: “Happy day of your birth, babe… in this lifetime and every other, I’d find you.”
Emma revealed last month that she had undergone keyhole surgery to repair a congenital heart defect that had gone undetected for nearly 50 years. The former Big Brother host described her diagnosis and treatment at London’s Royal Brompton Hospital, where she was supported every step of the way by her husband: “Matt never left my side.”

Posting from her hospital bed, wires visible across her chest, Emma praised the hospital team and the “spectacular” surgeon who treated her. She wrote: “Turns out, I’ve been walking around for 48 years with a hole in my heart without even knowing. Isn’t it incredible what goes on inside our bodies without us realising?”
She added: “What blows my mind is the wonder of modern medicine and the amazing people who fix us every day.”
Emma’s brave recovery and triumphant public return has inspired fans, with many praising her honesty and resilience. Known for her roles on The Voice UK, The Circle, and now Love Is Blind: UK, Emma continues to shine both on and off screen.
