Alison Hammond called her ITV outfit “rubbish” and “stinky,” but days later stunned fans with glowing selfies showing her 11st weight loss. From binbag jokes to bombshell beauty, Alison’s transformation has viewers hooked

Alison Hammond didn’t hold back when it came to her outfit on Friday’s episode of This Morning. The 50-year-old presenter tore into her deep purple belted leather-style dress after Jeff Brazier praised the look.

Alison admitted she wasn’t impressed, saying she had expected leather but instead discovered, “It smells weird – I think it’s PVC. It’s something rubbish. Don’t worry, I’m going to donate it to charity afterwards.”

Even after a break, Alison was still joking about the outfit, laughing that the dress was making her “dance like a granny.” Dermot O’Leary teased back, insisting: “Well, I told you, we can’t get rid of the dress.”

Viewers quickly joined in with the banter on social media. One quipped: “Is it national Wear A Binbag To Work day?” while another compared her look to “a garden waste bag.” Others joked it resembled a sofa or even “an original DFS.”

The dress drama came just days after Alison wowed fans with glamorous new selfies showing off her 11-stone weight loss. Styled by her “glam man” Mikey Phillips, she flashed a huge smile in a denim jacket, white T-shirt and colourful skirt.

Alison, who once weighed 28 stone, revealed she turned her health around after being diagnosed as pre-diabetic. She has since reversed the condition through healthier food choices and regular workouts. She told Heat: “I’ve got a personal trainer – she’s amazing. If I’m working, I’ll go for a walk. When I’m home, I’ll train four times a week.”

On food, Alison insists balance is key: “I don’t deny myself anything. I eat everything, but in moderation.” She also confessed she only tastes cakes on The Great British Bake Off if they’ve received a Paul Hollywood handshake or won the challenge, adding with a grin: “If the judges aren’t impressed, I’m not trying it.”
