Katie Price has been hit with an unexpected wave of success after a single she released back in 2017 suddenly shot to the top of the UK music charts.
The 47-year-old reality TV star was left screaming with excitement in an Instagram video as she heard her track I Got U being played on the radio. She captioned the clip: “Number 3!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! I literally can’t believe it!!!!! #igotyou #wegotyou.” The single has now reached number one on the iTunes dance chart and number three overall in the UK, surpassing the likes of Olivia Dean, Perrie Edwards and Dizzee Rascal.

Fans rushed to congratulate her. One wrote: “After all these years of being painted as the villain, Katie Price has finally been exonerated — the truth always comes out in the end.” Another added: “Never, ever underestimate the Pricey.” Others even urged her to perform at Wembley, with one calling her “the reinvention queen.”
Katie’s representative said the star was overwhelmed: “Katie can’t believe the amount of support she’s had from the public! This shows what women supporting women can achieve and the power of social media.” A source described the chart success as “a dream come true” for the former glamour model.

Katie has been reposting congratulatory messages from fans, writing: “Thank you to everyone — my dreams have come true. Well, for once I’m speechless!”
The track, which originally peaked at number five when it was first released in 2017 during her second attempt at a pop career, has now given her a fresh chance in music. She even teased plans for a new album titled Katie Price’s Big Bangers earlier this year, promising a mix of covers and original material, alongside a possible UK tour.
While her music career gains momentum, Katie continues to face personal battles. Her long-running feud with ex-husband Peter Andre has recently resurfaced, but she has been proudly celebrating her close bond with daughter Princess, sharing photos of them in matching outfits online.
