Freddy Brazier is reportedly expecting his first child, and the life-changing news has brought him closer than ever to his dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier.
The 20-year-old model, who is the youngest son of Jeff and the late Jade Goody, has had a strained relationship with his father in recent years after choosing to live with his grandmother Jackiey. Their bond soured further when Jeff took legal action following pictures of Freddy smoking with her. Freddy later revealed that Jackiey had introduced him to drugs when he was just 12, admitting: “My nan was definitely the person who not only introduced me to weed but got me hooked.”

Despite the turbulent past, sources say father and son are now rebuilding their connection. A friend shared: “This baby news blindsided him and has been one of the things that’s really brought him and his dad back together, but it’s devastating that Jade isn’t here to see it. Jeff was one of the first people he confided in, and he stepped up straight away to help in any way he could.”

Freddy has been open about his struggles, admitting he has been to rehab, suffered manic episodes, and even been sectioned. Earlier this year, he revealed plans to attend rehab in Spain but instead went on a holiday, later confessing: “I’ve been smoking since I was 12. It was a bad coping mechanism that turned into an addiction – something I relied on to feel sane.”

The young model has since said he wants to be “clean” so he can rebuild his relationships with both his father and grandmother. For Jeff, the impending arrival of his first grandchild has given him the chance to stand by his son during one of the most defining moments of his life.
